Pentatonica

Pentatonica is a 2048-style puzzle where each tile represents a musical note. Slide the tiles across the 4×4 board to merge two equal notes into the next note of the pentatonic scale, moving up from C1 to C4.

Every merge plays its notes, so each game turns into a melody of its own. Choose one of seven musical cultures, each with its own scale and instrument: Celtic harp, Chinese guzheng, Japanese koto, Indian sitar, Middle Eastern oud, Indonesian gamelan, and American guitar. The rules stay the same, only the sound and the note names change.

Merge on consecutive swipes to build a combo and raise the score multiplier up to x3. Compete on a shared leaderboard for all time and for the last 30 days, and carry your name to another device with your player code.

The game is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Ukrainian. Play with the arrow keys, WASD or the mouse. The window scales to any size.
